• FIU is the first university in the Southeast U.S. to offer a Doctor of Athletic Training degree. The inaugural program begins Fall 2018.
• Alumna Tiffany Morton (Class of 2013) is the first woman athletic trainer in the history of the Kansas City Chiefs National Football League franchise.
